RoboCop: Rogue City instal the new version for mac

While the graphics look above average, this game is starting to feel hollow and empty, as a Robocop fan I hope they get it together for the final release. Here's a list of all the things they still don't have right or included:ġ - Dull and boring punk enemies, no effort put into their design at all.ģ - Both the font and the colour of the 'targeting' text in the lower left are wrong.Ĥ - Still has the generic gunfire sound, and not Robo's unique gun sound.ĥ - The fact that Robo is holding the gun near centre and the muzzle blast from the gun is so big you can't the direct effect of your fire until after it's over.Ħ - The iconic sound from the leg holster opening and closing is still missing, not good.ħ - At about 50 seconds in the new trailer, he's firing on full auto and there's no shell casings at all, do you not know how guns work?Ĩ - After that, the green targeting lines go from right to left randomly while Robo is firing forward, what the hell? I don't care if it's scanning for targets, from a gameplay perspective that's annoying and distracting.ĩ - A recycled audio bite from the movie, we all know Weller is not returning to voice act.Īt least this fan tribute got the first person perspective right:

Is anybody else suspicious of all the fast jump cuts? that's not good, it's like they're hiding something. They're completely reusing the gameplay mechanics from the Terminator Resistance DLC, from the slow motion 'breach and clear' to the grab and throw the Terminator had as well. For supposed 'fans' of Robocop they get so many things wrong it's embarrassing. Having watched the recently released trailer, have to say it's disappointing.
